Description
To support the continued use of the California Educator Reporting System (CERS), the California Department of Education is hosting the CERS—Beyond the Basics Training for Coordinators and Administrators as a follow-up to the 2023–24 Introduction to CERS trainings. Audience: This two-hour online training is designed for staff who have an LEA or site coordinator role in the Test Operations Management System and are responsible for managing access to CERS for other LEA staff members. Topics: Intermediate and advanced CERS features, including making custom reports, completing advanced rostering, and tips for providing local CERS training. The session will include opportunities for attendees to practice using various features of CERS. Online Engagement: We have time built into the training for participants to practice using various features in CERS. We ask that all registered participants make themselves available to engage for the entire duration of the training. Materials Only Option: If you cannot attend the live training session but still wish to receive the training materials (i.e., slides and any associated handouts) and be notified of the availability of session recordings, please complete this Training Materials Notifications form instead of registering. https://forms.gle/MvVHE943PvbBrhhV9 Please note: These trainings will build upon the summer and fall 2023 Introduction to CERS trainings which provided educators with an overview of CERS. It is highly recommended that participants have a basic understanding of CERS before attending the winter or spring training. Materials and recordings for the 2023–24 Introduction to CERS for Test Coordinators and Administrators trainings are available for anyone who would like to review them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bjJP5ic7rl8
