Description
To support the continued use of the California Educator Reporting System (CERS), the California Department of Education is hosting the 2024–25 Accessing Summative Assessment Results in CERS training as a follow-up to the 2024–25 Introduction to CERS trainings. This training is offered in two separate modules to assist LEA staff in preparing to access 2024–25 assessment results in CERS for specific assessments.
Audience: This online training is designed for all CERS users who want just-in-time information about assessment results in advance of results becoming available for the 2024–25 school year in CERS.
Topics: How to access specific 2024–25 summative assessment results in CERS, viewing Individual Student Reports, and understanding features available for specific assessments.
Materials Only Option: If you cannot attend the live training session but still wish to receive the training materials (for example, slides and any associated handouts) please complete the Training Materials Notifications form (https://forms.gle/L3bUerGLCzjXpFdy6) instead of registering. You will be notified of the session recording when it becomes available.
Two modules will be offered:
--Module One will focus on the 2024–25 Accessing Summative Results in CERS for Summative English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC), the Summative Alternate ELPAC, and the California Spanish Assessment (CSA).

--Module Two will focus on the 2024–25 Accessing Summative Results in CERS for Smarter Balanced Summative Assessments for English language arts/literacy (ELA) and mathematics, the California Science Test (CAST) and the California Alternate Assessments (CAAs) for ELA, mathematics, and science.
